The Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival has grown and grown over the last six years, with only one main complaint... nothing happens in Hove! Well now it does, being the grand finale for the festival with two days on beautiful Hove Lawns by the sea and the last day at Brighton Racecourse on race day! The concept is to have a divided Sussex and continental market to the public to taste the difference and then all the producers are invited to a free after show party in the Racecourse function rooms to meet, celebrate and network.

This event, organised by Brighton & Hove Business Forum and New Era Associates, will be held on Hove Lawns Sat 27th and Sun 28th Sept 10-5pm and at Brighton Racecourse from 12pm to 5.30pm on Monday 29th September.

What is ‘Sussex & Rest of the World' all about?
Brighton & Hove is the nearest English City to France. Traditionally a continental market appeared at the Food Festival until a few years ago. For the first time ever, a Sussex Market is being pitched on beautiful Hove Lawns, clearly labeled and separated from a continental markets. It will guarantee Hove starved festivalgoers a feast of choice, the ultimate market challenge of Sussex or French, Spanish or Italian. This is the first big Food & Drink Festival event in Hove.

The final day is a real treat; you are invited to the best race day of the year at Brighton Racecourse. This is an opportunity to be part of the final day of the festival. We are throwing a big party for all the local producers; restaurant and hotel owners at the end and you can witness the Waiter Race on the track.
