FieryFoodUK, now rebranded as a national event, is one of the centrepieces of the 2008 food month. This year the most sought after central location has been gained, the Old Steine, connecting Kemp Town with central Brighton, at the conclusion of the main drive route from London to Brighton and in front of the south's top tourist attractions The Royal Pavilion and Brighton Pier.

It is clear that, over recent years, the public perception of chillies has changed from exotic product for the few to that of essential ingredient - accordingly, the UK chilli market is fast catching up with the US with the potential to become a multi-billion pound industry.  Our aim is to build the FieryFoodUK shows to the same status as the Fiery Food shows in the USA.

The chilli festival is now in it's 4^th year and growing to national status, attracting chilli lovers from all over the country on Sat 20^th and Sun 21^st September 2008.

What is FieryFoodUK about?

Showcasing the top hot and spicy foods from local and national producers and from around the world. Experience the hottest chilli in the world, the Naga from Chilli Pepper Pete, or dare to sample the Chilli Awards winning Dragons Blood (Best in Show 2007), Clara's Pepper Pot's addictive sweet chilli sauce or chilli mayo, sample the deadly 999 bottle of rocket fuel for Hot Hedz who swept the board winning 3 awards last year. The chilli market is a 60 strong line up of just about anything hot and spice you can imagine, and much that will shock you, including Fallen Angels Black Death beer or Cocoa Locos chilli chocolate. There will be hot food aplenty to tempt you taste buds including Thai Spice Restaurant, the best local curries fro Chaulas in Lewes, Jollof Bites Caribbean foods etc.

Wash it all down at the beer tantalising to hot local bands on the live stage or sit in deckchairs enjoying the Live Food Stage. Some of these producers are the amongst the worlds experts in chillies, event mentoring the celebrity chefs in the are of hot foods, so come along and burn a few secrets into your brain!

The live stage will be hosted by a top radio station DJ including live broadcast, with fun games on stage such as ‘chilli roulette'. In the Saturday evening, The Chilli Awards will be presented by a top hot foods celebrity with a grand finale pyrotechnic show.
